Arts Education

The Arts Council of Greater Grand Rapids has a long and illustrious history of working on arts education strategies. We work directly with organizations that help to support and increase the presence of the arts in our schools. Grand Rapids Public Schools Arts Advocate is such a group. We are partners in the mission to ensure that the arts continue to be a part of every child’s school experience.

Arts Education Funding Pool [More information & grant applications]
This fund is primarily geared to help art programs within the Kent Intermediate School District. The fund is available to all school within the district. Schools submitting an application must have the approval and support of the principal and at least one arts specialist who will administer the program. This is a competitive grant process with limited funding, which means that not all applications submitted will be funded. All Applications are due December 1 of each year.
