Task Force for Arts Education as Core

The Arts Council of Greater Grand Rapids launched Task Force for Arts Education as Core in October of 2001 with leaders from four K-12 districts, three university/college systems, three funding agencies involved in systemic change, and three arts organizations involved in arts education. The group is working to create an overarching strategy for making sure that arts education is a central strategy in education reform.
