The Arts Council has provided direct financial support and
strategic assistance to its member organizations through operating
grants, workshops, one-on-one mentoring, and advocacy on city-
and state-wide levels. Your gift ensured that our arts organizations’
foundations remained strong in the face of challenging economic
conditions.
The Arts Council awarded arts education grants to educators
in the Kent Intermediate School District (KISD) providing
them with the resources necessary to increase their students’
exposure to the arts. At a time when arts were often cut from
school budgets and curriculums, your gift helped maintain
KISD students’ access to music, dance, theatre, visual
art and more. |
