Council of Greater Grand Rapids announces $28,100 in
Minigrants

Through the Michigan Council of Arts and Cultural Affairs
(MCACA) Minigrant Program the Arts Council gave $28,100
to twelve local arts and cultural organizations.

The Arts Council serves as one of nineteen regional
regranting agencies for the MCACA. The region covered
includes the following counties: Ionia, Kent, Lake,
Mecosta, Montcalm, Newaygo and Osceola.

The Arts Council received nineteen grant applications,
with a total of $67,381 in requests. After much
deliberation, the Minigrant Panel came to a consensus
on how to distribute the $28,100. The following
