Membership Overview

Organizations
There are two levels of membership for organizations:

1. Active membership
Allows your organization access to all of our services including member-only workshops, many of which are free of charge. For performing and producing organizations this membership status is required in order to apply for operating support. Membership dues are factored by budget size.

Benefits of joining as an active member:
• Access to statewide arts advocacy
• Links to capacity-building workshops
• Funding opportunities
• A connection to expertise in non-profit arts management
• Access to the Arts Council staff as a resource
• A listing of your organization’s information and a link to your website
• Listing in all Arts Council publications
• Listing in the annual Member Brochure

2. Networking Membership
Allows any non-performing organization that supports the arts in Grand Rapids an excellent avenue for staying informed and connected to the arts in our city.

Benefits of joining as a networking member:
• Keeps you updated on the state of the arts in our community and statewide
• Listing in the annual Members Brochure
